EPE RECYCLING SOLUTION
EPE (Expandable Polyethylene) is expandable polyethylene, also known as pearl cotton. It is a non-cross-linked closed-cell structure.
It is a high-foam polyethylene product extruded from low-density polyethylene (LDPE) as the main raw material. It is a new type of environmentally friendly packaging material. EPE is widely used in the packaging of electronic appliances, instruments, computers, audio, medical equipment, home appliances, furniture, wine and gift packaging, hardware products, toys, fruits, daily necessities and other products.
EPE foam is completely recyclable. The recycling methods of EPE pearl cotton can be roughly divided into two types. One is the more common pearl cotton to be directly recycled and granulated; the other is to use an EPE compactor or hot melting machine to compact it into cakes first and then reprocess it, such as granulation or something else.
In fact, for EPE pearl cotton, both foam cold press and foam hot melt machine can currently be processed. As for which type is more suitable, it depends on the use environment and the requirements for the materials to be processed.
Because there is a market demand for the recycled particles of EPE, and there is also a market demand for the EPE compressed cakes, this determines that EPE recycling is accepted by more people and is truly "profitable".
